The Global Alliance for Scientific Studies (GASS) successfully conducted its international webinar titled “Unlocking the Secrets: How to Write Compelling Scientific Papers” on Sunday, August 18, 2024. The webinar was designed to equip students and early-career researchers with clear, step-by-step guidance on effective scientific writing and manuscript preparation for publication in reputable international journals.
The session was led by Mr. Abdul Samad, CEO of GASS and Doctoral Researcher at Gyeongsang National University, South Korea, who delivered a comprehensive overview of scientific paper writing, including manuscript structuring, clarity and coherence in academic writing, journal selection strategies, ethical authorship, plagiarism avoidance, reference management, and effective responses to reviewer comments. Participants also learned how to avoid common writing and submission mistakes and how to enhance the quality and impact of their research articles.
The webinar was organized under the patronage of Dr. Atif Rehman, Assistant Professor, MNSUAM, and Dr. Ali Haider, Assistant Professor, MNSUAM. A large number of undergraduate students, postgraduate scholars, and early-career researchers from across Pakistan actively participated and benefited from practical examples, real-world publishing insights, and an engaging interactive question-and-answer session.

The Global Alliance for Scientific Studies (GASS) successfully conducted its international webinar titled “Unlocking Global Opportunities: An International Webinar on Securing Scholarships Abroad” on Saturday, August 09, 2025. The webinar was designed to provide students with clear, step-by-step guidance on accessing international scholarships, understanding admission requirements, and preparing strong academic and research profiles for global study opportunities.
The session was led by Mr. Abdul Samad, the CEO of GASS and a Doctoral Researcher at Gyeongsang National University, South Korea, who delivered an in-depth overview of fully funded scholarship programs, country-wise opportunities, application strategies, statement of purpose writing, research proposal development, and interview preparation. Participants also learned how to avoid common application mistakes and how to improve their chances of selection through proper planning and documentation.
Virtual Workshop on “Advanced All-Inorganic Solar Cells: Materials, Fabrication, Characterization, and Performance Optimization”
The Global Alliance for Scientific Studies (GASS) successfully conducted a virtual workshop titled “Advanced All-Inorganic Solar Cells: Materials, Fabrication, Characterization, and Performance Optimization” on December 17, 2025. The workshop was designed to provide researchers, academicians, students, and industry professionals with an updated understanding of recent developments in all-inorganic solar cell technologies, with particular emphasis on advanced materials, fabrication approaches, characterization techniques, and strategies for improving device performance.
The workshop covered important aspects of all-inorganic solar cells, including the selection and design of functional materials, fabrication and processing techniques, structural and optoelectronic characterization, evaluation of photovoltaic performance, device stability, and approaches for enhancing energy-conversion efficiency. The activity also highlighted emerging research trends, technological challenges, and opportunities for developing efficient and sustainable next-generation solar-energy systems.
The workshop was coordinated with Dr. Muhammad Ikram, Department of Physics, GC University Lahore, Pakistan, serving as the Focal Person. Participants had the opportunity to strengthen their scientific understanding, exchange research ideas, and engage in interactive academic discussions related to renewable energy materials and advanced solar-cell technologies.

The Global Alliance for Scientific Studies (GASS) successfully conducted a virtual workshop titled “Oxygen Evolution Reaction (OER): Materials Synthesis, Electrocatalytic Performance, and Water Splitting Technologies” on March 2, 2026. The workshop was designed to provide researchers, academicians, students, and industry professionals with an updated understanding of the Oxygen Evolution Reaction (OER) and its critical role in electrochemical water splitting, renewable hydrogen production, and sustainable energy-conversion technologies.
The workshop covered important aspects of OER-related materials and technologies, including advanced material synthesis approaches, electrocatalyst development, structural and electrochemical characterization, evaluation of electrocatalytic activity, stability and reaction kinetics, and strategies for improving overall water-splitting performance. The activity also highlighted recent advances in catalyst design and emerging research opportunities for developing efficient, durable, and cost-effective electrocatalytic systems for clean-energy applications.
